The Powerpuff Girls

As The Powerpuff Girls experiences renewed cultural relevance, these style guides reposition the franchise for today's consumer products market through trend-forward Y2K aesthetics. Vintage-inspired character art, playful editorial graphics, and bold icons and patterns celebrate the brand's iconic identity while creating fresh opportunities for licensing and retail.

I led the creative development of these toolkits from concept through final delivery, defining the visual direction, partnering with external artists, and overseeing brand approvals to ensure global consistency. The results are style guides with scalable asset systems that modernize the franchise while preserving its unmistakable visual DNA.

Toxic Spice and Nothing Nice

Tapping into playful 'baddie' energy in contrast to previous 'Which PPG Are You?' iterations, this guide features the villains of the PPG world and seamlessly blends charm with edgy, rebellious undertones. It leverages humorous, Gen Z-focused editorial alongside sharp, spiky graphic elements to amplify the overall attitude. The visual direction features an electric, villain-inspired color palette rooted in a Y2K, underground-zine aesthetic.
